Product Information and Descriptions

All products sold on Karooblom are handmade using high-grade materials, including precious metals and gemstones.

Due to the handmade nature of our jewellery, minor variations and imperfections are expected and are part of the product's unique character.

Customers are encouraged to follow the care instructions provided on our website to maintain the quality of their jewellery.

Custom Orders

We do not accept custom orders unless specifically agreed upon at a premium price. Custom pieces will be designed to the customer's specifications, and due to the bespoke nature of these items, they are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Pricing and Payment

Currency: All prices listed are in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT.

Payment Methods: We accept payments via Shopify’s supported payment providers, including credit cards and PayPal. Payment is required upfront at the time of purchase.

Shipping Fees: Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout, based on the shipping address and delivery options selected unless otherwise stated.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Locations: We ship within the Netherlands & Belgium only.

Delivery Time: As a small business, our delivery timelines may vary. Shipping times will be confirmed once your order has been processed, which is usually one to two business days. Customers will be notified via email of the shipping details once the product has been dispatched. Orders placed on Fridays are packed and processed for shipping on the next available business day.

Karooblom is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping company. In case of lost or delayed deliveries, customers should contact the shipping provider directly.

Damaged Goods

If the jewellery is damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately.

Any claims for damages must be substantiated with sufficient proof, such as clear photos of the packaging and the damaged product. In such cases, the original item and packaging must be returned to us.

Upon receiving the damaged item, we will process a refund within 15 working days. Claims for damages must be made within 5 days of receiving the item.

Return and Exchange Policy

Due to the nature of jewellery and hygiene concerns, we do not accept returns or exchanges. This policy applies to all products unless they arrive damaged, as described above.

Custom orders are also non-returnable.

Refunds

Refunds are only provided in cases where the product arrives damaged due to shipping. Once we receive the returned item, we will process your refund within 15 working days. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

Intellectual Property

All designs, jewellery, images, and content on the Karooblom website are the exclusive property of Karooblom and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

This includes, but is not limited to:
Jewellery designs
Photographs of products
Website content
Digital media
Promotional material
The Karooblom name, brand identity, logos, and digital assets

No part of our website or its content may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form without prior written permission from Karooblom.

In the event of a dispute, customers must provide all relevant information, including proof of the claim. We reserve the right to decide on an appropriate resolution on a case-by-case basis.

All disputes will be governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Limitation of Liability

Karooblom cannot be held liable for:

a) Any damages or issues resulting from improper care or handling of jewellery.

b) Allergic reactions to the materials used in our products. We use high-quality materials, and any known sensitivities should be considered before purchase.

c) Discoloration, tarnishing, or wear that occurs naturally over time, due to oxidation, or exposure to environmental elements (e.g., humidity).

By purchasing our products, customers agree to follow the care instructions provided to ensure the longevity and quality of their jewellery.

Karooblom reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be reflected on this page, and it is the responsibility of the customer to review the Terms and Conditions periodically.
